- Government Authority: All rooftop solar subsidy guidelines, subsidy slab amounts (e.g., up to ₹30,000 for 1 kW, ₹60,000 for 2 kW, ₹78,000 for 3 kW and above), eligibility criteria, portal processing guidelines, and fund releases are governed entirely by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India, and state DISCOMs (such as MGVCL, UGVCL, DGVCL, PGVCL).
- Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT): Subsidies are credited directly into the consumer's bank account via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) by the Government of India upon DISCOM commissioning report generation and portal validation. VIPSUN Energy Solutions does not hold, disburse, or guarantee government subsidy funds.
